Greg was born to Dennis Gordon & Delores Marlene (Anderson) Eide in Long Beach, California. His older brother and sister were Gary Lee Eide (RIP) and Debra Kay Eide (74-RIP). He also had two younger siblings. His parents divorce when Gary, Debbie and Greg were young. They lived on 104th across from Felton Junior High School.

After graduating from Lennox, Gregg lived in the Lakewood/Bellflower area for several years and married Kathy Berry and had three children.

Gregg Eide, 48, of Yankton died unexpectedly at his home. Kostel Funeral Home and Crematory, Yankton, is in charge of arrangements.
