Charles Tyrone Gurr was born in Inglewood, California on September 2, 1958. He and I were adopted by our mother's husband in 1970 and our last name became Miller. He died in Phoenix, Arizona, on November 10, 2018, of heart failure.

He is survived by his four children: Charles T. Miller, Jr., Sharron M. Miller, Cheryl M. Miller, and Michael W. Miller, all of whom currently live in Arizona, and many grandchildren.
