For the first ten years, I just kicked around and had fun.  Then went to college, got a degree in English and became an ESL teacher.  Part of my university experience was spent in Tokyo where I also taught English while living Japan which inspired me to become an ESL teacher. After graduation, I returned to Japan where I worked in 4 Japanese cities to include Hiroshima, as well in Korea in 3 different cities there. While I first started working in Japan, I had to go to Korea to await my work visa, where I also met and then married a wonderful woman named, Eunja, who is from Korea. We married in 1985.  It has been a wonderful 23 years.  She is an amazing woman.  I have had my share of beer, good whisky and strange dinners around the world.

Then I moved back to the US and lived in Wisconsin directing an ESL program for UW-Stevens Point.  Loved Wisconsin. Now I live in San Antonio and direct the Office of ESL Services for UT-San Antonio and am the international recruiter where I get to travel the world looking for students.  I got married to wonderful woman named Eunja who is from Korea.  We married in 1985.  It has been a wonderful 23 years.  She is an amazing woman.  I have had my share of beer, good whisky and strange dinners around the world.

Still Liberal after all these years too.  Life has been rather good and a lot of fun. If your ever in San Antonio, look me up and I can show you the River Walk.    [5/21/08]

I have been an English as a Second Language teacher for the last 20 years.  I have lived in Asia for 10 years of those 20. Will move to Houston from Wisconsin in Sept. 03.  I have been married for 19 years to Eunja a wonderful woman from Korea.    [8/28/03]
