My sister and best friend passed away on 4/30/12. She had beaten breast cancer 7 years ago but unfortunately it returned. She and my brother fought the good fight, kept the faith and are now together again. Submitted by Holly Hanes Class of 1978  [7/25/12]

Just a note to let friends know that my brother, Bill Hanes (Class of 1977), passed away on 11/2/11 after a 3.5 year valiant battle with colon cancer. Blessings to everyone who has fought this fight. May we someday find the cure.     [1/25/12]

I moved to Orange County in 1976 where I continue to reside. I have two daughters, (Alexandra 17 and entering her senior year at Lutheran High School and Adrianna 10). I was divorced in 1986; remarried (Stan) in 1989. I purchased my accounting practice in 1996 and located it near the girls school. I work part time at St. Paul's Lutheran School as their Music Arts Department Chairman and am one of the founding members of the Orange County Lutheran Youth Band (an elementary & middle school marching band). If I were to have spare time, I enjoy my five cats, two ferrets, collecting Erle Stanley Gardner first editions, and needlepoint. I still drive the 1966 Mustang I bought after graduation in 1971 and love getting together with friends (some things never change).        [9/3/01]
